Families

We have a great number of families that are involved here. They are central to our church. There are several ministries aimed at ministering to our families and their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. In every season of life there are unique struggles, and as Christians, we want to come together to encourage each other to keep running the race of faith!

JOY Group

Our JOY Group is our Just Older Youth Group. Our hope as the church is that we can affectively minister to all age groups. We don't believe there should be any group that sits on the sidelines. We have an active group of older youth (60+) who spend time together going out for monthly activities.

Kids For Christ

Young kids are a staple of our church! This ministry focuses on involving kids in a Christian environment. Each month there is an event for this age group to participate and be involved in. If you have young children (ages kindergarten through 5th grade), we would love for them to join us.

More Ways To Connect:

  • Young Adults. The Young Adults are a group of 18-30 year olds who meet every Sunday morning for open discussions about the Bible and current struggles in our world. The goal of this group is to help and encourage each other to know, love, and serve God. They plan events together such as fellowship activities, singings, and service projects.
  • Meals on Wheels. Every Wednesday, a group of our members meet to prepare and deliver meals to those who need them in our community.
  • Ladies Day. The annual Ladies Day happens every November. There is a large group of ladies from all over middle Tennessee that gather to hear a keynote speaker, sing, build relationships, and have fun!
  • Vacation Bible School. VBS takes place each summer. Classes will be available for every age group. Each night the kids will go to a different center and learn more about the topic, and the adults will have classes in the auditorium.
  • Family Day. Every year, we have a Sunday where we focus on families. We invite our community to join us in worship. We listen to lessons about the family and share a meal together.
  • Nursing Home Ministry. We have a group that goes out to the local nursing home and holds a worship service each Sunday.
